Westside Baptist Church

Drawing from Deuteronomy and Ephesians, the sermon emphasizes the responsibility of Christian parents to actively cultivate discipleship in their children through consistent teaching, discipline, and modeling of faith. It underscores that raising children involves more than simply providing for their basic needs; it requires intentional instruction in the Christian faith, recognizing that children are born sinners in need of redemption. The sermon clarifies that baptism is a church-led decision, not solely a parental one, and encourages parents to trust in God's work despite imperfections, ultimately prioritizing the spiritual well-being of their children through faithful obedience to biblical principles.
