Faith is much more about what God wants to do for you: It’s about what He wants to do through you. God wants to do some extraordinary things through you in this world, but He needs to do somethings in you first. Don’t get caught up in the end result.

There is a dichotomy of faith. Failing to recognize this dichotomy can paralyze you. Freedom in Christ is found in the balance of many seemingly opposing forces. Recognizing the balance and learning to walk this fine line will become the most powerful tool a Jesus follower can have. Learning this balance will make you the most effective you can be.

When you find yourself in a situation that requires divine intervention, every moment is going to require trust. I dare say that every moment of adversity that you experience is doing one thing: It is testing your trust in the Lord. Every moment of adversity that you overcome is developing more trust.
