As we begin this series, we'll be talking about worship as the only proper response to the reality that God has delivered us from sin, a recognition that only God is worthy and, it places us into the story of God and his faithfulness to his people. Worship is the proclamation of identity: who we are, and who we are not. When we worship God, we proclaim what he has done, what he is doing, and what he will do.

Jonah’s selfishness and anger are no match for God’s mercy and grace. 

A just and loving God sends the prophet Jonah to Nineveh in the hopes they will repent of their sins. Instead Jonah flees, demonstrating his heart of apathy, reluctance, and disobedience towards others. While our main text this week is Jonah 1:1-16, we recommend you read the entire book to see how this story plays out as we read and discuss it each Sunday in May.

Jesus commanded us to “go and make disciples of all the nations”, but before we can go and make disciples of all nations, it starts in our home. While parents are the main disciplers of their children, each and every one of us has a role in making disciples of the next generation.

The Gospel of Mark ends with three women going to the tomb three days after the crucifixion of Jesus. They arrive at the tomb, only to find the stone rolled away and instead of the body of Jesus, they meet a man who tells them Jesus has risen from the dead.

In Mark 11:1-11, Jesus enters Jerusalem on a donkey, and the crowds welcome him as one who comes in the name of the Lord. Join us as we join them in praise Jesus this Sunday.
