Everybody loves a winner. And so we have adopted a desire to win and to belong with winners. They are the strongest, the smartest, the ones who end up as first among the rest. But Jesus made an adjustment of the apostles' perception of who a winner is. It is now time we find out or get reminded of this perspective. The Gospel is freely given to all yet not everyone will receive it with glad hearts. Others will ignore it, jump with joy as they hear it and forget it soon after.
