Water heals, restores, and makes creation flourish. But it also challenges us: to recognize ecological damage, to embrace our interconnectedness, and to immerse ourselves in the responsibility of caring for and restoring our Common Home. This Sunday, we join Christians from around the world in observing the Season of Creation 2026: Living Water as we "enter the stream" of God's grace.

She serves as Chair of the Commission on Religion and Race for her New England Annual Conference, and was a leader of the Queer Delegate Caucus at General Conference in 2024. She has several connections with our pastors, including that she was a campus pastor to Pastor Molly, at Boston University. Welcome to Westwood, Rev. McAvoy!
