Every year there are different trends that dictate the market for popularity, collectability and overall interest. Here are my predictions for 2019:

Shaving Brushes:

Declaration Brushworks:

These brushes have been selling out faster than ever in the last few months of 2018 and 2019 looks good for the small company out of Michigan.

Declaration is run by one man Scott, who hand ties every knot here in the USA.

Just a quick search determined that there are 18 WTB ads out there on the forums for particular “batches” of the brush topping the list for the start of 2019.

The Varlet Shaving Brush Company

Popularity of this brush has skyrocketed in the past few months.

Limited production and positive reviews put the Varlet right up there with desirability and collectability.

Fully made in the USA, Varlet is another brush made by a sole craftsman, and knots are hand-tied in the USA.
