* So I’m sure most of you saw the Super Bowl ad for Microsofts new ai program Copilot… so of course I downloaded it. And as a youth pastor I Search the Hottest Trends among teens in 2024.
* 1. Coquette aesthetic: This is a celebration of all things ultra-girly that involves bows, lace, victorian era stuff.. Are you having a hard time picturing it? Let me help you.
* You know that those anti social kids in school that perfected cats over people you remember they used show up to school looking like little red riding hood -so it’s like same style only the girls wearing them today aren’t hissing at you in the hallway.
* But no Like seriously, all the teens these days, you are all trying to grow up to quick. Like my wife will scroll social media before bed and like there are like 11 year old girls doing makeup tutorials caking on make up so thick they look 30… well they don’t really know how to put make up, so it kinda looks more like a 30-year-old drag queen but that’s not the point. Like 11 years only doing make up tutorials.. nahhh thats crazy I remember when I was around that age.

* You all are trying to grow up way too quick.
* As a youth pastor I have teens constantly talking to me about wanting to get a Job! And don’t get me wrong I always wanted a job too! But like I was trying to get that coffee shop job… you know it paid reasonably. I worked part time and it was enough money to see a new movie in theaters every weekend
* But these kids are ambitious. The 2nd thing trending is LinkedIn: This is a social media platform that is usually used by professionals and job seekers. Because they want that big money!! Which is awesome but no offense how are you wanting to take on more responsibility when you get reply to a text about going to the park to play basketball? Nah like seriously my phone consists on thousands of read receipts and like 1% response rate.
* Anyway Speaking of sports what ever happened to real sports. You know you go to the park with your friends with a new pair of jeans on. But when you come back home your parts are grass stained, with a giant rip in them. You got a black eye and a bloody lip, and you’re just limping into the kitchen for a Gatorade looking like you just came home from war and your moms like “what the heck happened to you” and your only response was “two hand tap football”
* Yeah thats real sports, but apparently the number 3 thing trending in 2024 among teens is Badminton…. How are you supposed to trash talk badminton?
On a Serious Note… Don’t cave under pressure.. You put way to much pressure on yourselves.. remember when you graduate no one cares anymore.

When Pentecost finally popped off, the squad was just vibing out in one spot. Outta nowhere, this crazy loud wind hit from above and filled the whole house, all the bros and sis peeped flames on their heads, bruh, It was insane—they let the Holy Spirit Cook, thing got real when they started spitting mad rhymes in heavenly languages, straight vibing with the Spirit.
Now, peeps from all over were posted up in Jerusalem, repping their nations. When they heard the loud voices, they all pulled up, bugging out because they could understand what was being said in their own language. They were shook, like, "Yo, aren't these dudes from Galilee? How are we hearing them in our own language?"
Then some haters started clowning, saying, "These dudes are lit FR.”
But Peter wasn't having it. He stood up for the squad and dropped some knowledge
"Listen up, fam, these dudes ain't wasted—it's only 9 AM! This is the Holy Spirit Glow-up that the OG Joel was talking about, that God would be dropping His Spirit on everyone, leading to some next-level visions and prophecies."
He kept it real, spilling that Jesus tea, about how He was the GOAT and the CEO, turning Ls into Ws. He broke it down, telling that Karens tried to cancel him by letting the op of ops POP em, and no cap they thought he had ghosted, FR it was like 3 days, but God brought Him back from the dead.
Peter was like, "We saw it, fam, ONG Jesus is alive and kicking. He's up there with the big G, and He sent the Holy Spirit down here, to give us dank Ws FR!”
People were shook and the his words were living rent free so they said “sheesh, What's the move, fam?"
Peter was like bet, because they were finna vibe FR, so he said “dont be salty, just say BIG YIKES, Go full cannon ball no hesitation, you'll get that High Key forgiveness and the Holy Spirit hookup."
And his words hit different, So about 3,000 peeps got down with the movement that day.
After that, everyone was toight ,hearing that lore accurate teaching from the OGs, They were all about that community vibe, sharing everything they had, being true ride or dies. Every day, they'd link up, either at the temple or someone's crib, breaking that buss’n bread, and chilling, and bumpin the bop of bops for God. And more peeps kept joining up, and adding to the crew daily.

Subject: Singles, Family’s & Marriages
James 4:8 says,
Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.
The enemy loves to attack our pursuit.
We must realize that out of a God’s passionate pursuit for intimacy we were created.
We were uniquely purposed for pursuit!
In the garden, we walked with God, talked with God and we had intimate fellowship with God!
And when humanity messed everything up with sin! God prepared a plan to die for us, so that way we could continue to pursue him! This is why the enemy tries to attack your families pursuit! The enemy knows if he can stop your pursuit of God he can cause you to pursue other things.
We were created by God for God and
Our pursuit of God matters!
Singles
For every “single” person:
Embrace this moment! You won’t be single forever, so use this season of singleness to strengthen your pursuit of God, learn how to embrace God’s intimacy.
Find your identity rooted in who He created to be not as the world tries to define you! Don’t become so fixated on your pursuit of “the one” that you forget how to pursue the lord! A significant other will not fulfill your life
But a significant encounter with God will alter your destiny!
Marriages
Now for all the married people,
The enemy tries so hard to attack your pursuit of God. Because he knows that the family relationship is structured after Gods relationship
Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her (Ephesians 5:25)
Loving your wives, as Christ loved the church starts with husbands pursue God. How can husbands truly love like christ if they don’t spend time resting in Christ’s love?
Husbands how are you supposed to lead your family if you aren’t demonstrating being led by God?
It’s in your pursuit of God that God will begin to guide you on how to lead your family in love!
Husband If submit to God, your wives will submit to you. Because you are leading from a place of overflowing love that stems from your pursuit of God!
So husbands and wives Keep God at the center of your marriage and pursue God together!
Families
Train your children to pursue God!
Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it. (Proverbs 22:6)
James 4:8
Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.
Prayer point:
We submit to the Lord and allow the Holy Spirit to pray through us for all the single, all the married people, and all families in Jesus' name – faithful pursuits of God will be restored in Jesus’ name.

How do we get revival in our church?
How do we get revival in San Antonio?
How do we get revival in America?
The answer is quite simple
“Revival starts with us”
In order to experience corporate Revival, we must first experience personal revival!
Revival means to be revived:
What once was alive being brought back to life
As Christians, we know that when you are born into this world, you are born, spiritually dead in Jesus needs to make you spiritually alive!
This means that sinners experience salvation
But the saved experiences revival!
Revival is for people who have already been saved, but have started to fall away from Faith!
We have seen a great decline of morals In our nation and even churches have departed from sound doctrine!
America desperately needs a Revival so that the church can be in alignment with God and his word and more souls can be saved!
2 Chronicles 7:14
Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land.
As we pray, and as seek God face, he is restoring everything the enemy has stolen!
Prayer :
God, we humble ourselves before you seek your face! We are declare right now people will know God! People will find freedom. People will discover purpose and people will make a difference.
We ask you Holy Spirit to pray through us today, on behalf of the church, on behalf of San Antonio and behalf of our nation that revival will come in Jesus name !

Holy Spirit Experiences or Emotionalism?
Let me start off by saying this. I have been in great atmospheres where God is moving, people are healed, and on their faces in worship!
Ive seen people stand up out of wheel chairs.
I’ve prayed for people and they’ve been healed of cancer. One guy tested positive for aids I prayed with him and the doctors verified the aids virus disappeared and he was cured.
I say all that to say GOD STILL MOVES!
We must Identify what’s moving us!
Why, because it is dangerous to us and our witness when we do things out of emotion and call it the Holy Spirit.
We must have a balance of the word and the move. Remember the WORD is God! Which means the move of the Holy Spirit is still subject to the word!
To many of the church prayer warriors are giving out prophecies like they are fortune tellers at a strip mall.
Like I was at church one time and this lady came up to me and a youth I was standing with. And she says to the young boy next to me “I see God has called you, but the next few years are going to be full of attack because the devil wants to wipe you out!” then she walked away.
Now 1 corinthians 14:3
But the one who prophesies speaks to people for edification [to promote their spiritual growth] and [speaks words of] encouragement and [speaks words of] consolation [to compassionately comfort them].
So anyway after this lady left, I had to look at my youth and say listen we need to rebuke that word! That’s not prophetic word it was a curse!
Now I’m not saying that she had bad intentions. But let’s say God really did gave her that word. essentially that word was “Gods called him but the devil wants to stop him” thats a word of knowledge given to her she didn’t know the information, but now that its been given its important that that she doesn’t act out of emotion and just go blurting it everywhere, she needs to ask God what should I do with this information. Almost aways if you receive a word of knowlege that contain negative information they should prayed over in intersession not spoken out as prophecy.
But because she didn’t stop to ask the Holy Spirit what to do with the information she spoke a curse that needed rebuked instead of praying a prayer that would shifted that young mans future.
We need to examine ourselves before we do things. Because not everything is prophetic. I know especially in pentecostal circles we do things because if they did it, I’ll do it.
And sadly thats one of the biggest things I’ve seen, is that people are trying to duplicate experiences by repeating actions…
So let me give you some good advice…
If God command and taught it in his word to do it, you don’t need directive from the holy spirit to do it because the direction was already given in the word.
Here are some examples:
Clap your Hands & Shout:
Jump with Joy:
Dance before the lord:
Pray and sing in tongues:
The quickest way to see if it was the Holy Spirit moving or emotionalism is does the Bible back the thing you saw.
WE MUST PUT ONE FOOT PLANTED IN THE WORD.
AND ONE FOOT PLANTED IN THE MOVE OF SPIRT.
THE REALITY IS IF ALL YOU HAVE IS A MOVE OF THE SPIRIT YOU HAVE VAIN EMOTIONALISM
AND IF ALL YOU HAVE IS THE WORD AND YOU DON’T LET THE SPIRIT MOVE YOU HAVE DEAD RELIGION!
YOU NEED TO BE BALANCED IN BOTH THE WORD AND THE SPIRIT!
