Everyone says how great it is to be in love with someone: have a boo, bae or whatever you want to call your partner. But is there no greater joy in falling in love with YOU first?

It's hard being a woman. Everyday, we wake up and go out into the world-a world that makes us feel that we are less-and we have to struggle to survive. It's tough. It's always tough. And it gets harder when people don't understand why we have to keep telling our stories and calling out the people that have hurt us. It's harder for us when we do tell these stories and are told to move on. But we won't stop. Pain won't hold us back. And maybe one day, society will see us for the human beings we are.

Life sucks in different ways for different people. And some people find it harder to cope so yes, depression DOES exist. It's not just a made up name and it can be very rough. But it doesn't have to be the end of the world. It can get better, but only if you let it.
