An Air Force service member survives a harrowing crash in Iran, New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani challenges new immigration restrictions, a missing hiker is rescued after seven days, and the NFL season opener suffers a ratings decline.

Plus, the Message of the Day, Bill examines the tightening Texas Senate race between Republican Ken Paxton and Democrat James Talarico, arguing that the contest reflects a larger problem in American politics: party leadership increasingly dictates what elected officials can say and do.

Danny Burmawi, former Muslim and author of “Islam, Israel and the West,” joins Erin Molan for a provocative conversation about Islam, Palestine, jihad, Israel — and what he believes America and the West are failing to understand.

Burmawi tells Erin why he says he “left two religions: Islam and Palestine,” and explains how walking away from Islam completely changed the way he viewed the Palestinian cause.

From Zohran Mamdani and Abdul El-Sayed to Hamas, the Muslim Brotherhood, October 7 and 9/11, Danny argues that the West has misunderstood how jihadist ideology has evolved, been repackaged and increasingly entered mainstream political conversation.

But perhaps his most powerful warning is personal.

After leaving the Middle East, Danny believed the threat he had fled was behind him. Then, after October 7, an encounter with a Jewish woman in Chicago made him realize something that changed everything: in his view, what he escaped had now followed him to America.

Erin and Danny also discuss the vulnerability of high-trust Western societies, freedom of speech, individual liberty, Israel and why Danny believes terrorism itself may not be the biggest long-term challenge facing the West.

What do YOU make of Danny Burmawi’s warning? Let us know in the comments.

Canada’s growing economic troubles, its escalating trade fight with the United States, and Prime Minister Mark Carney’s turn toward China are putting the country on a dangerous path. Years of weak economic growth, mass immigration, green-energy policies, and underinvestment in defense have left Canada increasingly vulnerable.

Carney’s confrontation with the United States could cost Canada millions of jobs and push its already weak economy into recession. At the same time, closer ties with China threaten to drive an even deeper wedge between Canada and its largest trading partner and closest ally.

"MK Confidential" examines the story of Casey Anthony. It all starts with a certified-mail notice that sits unnoticed on a pink front door for days— eventually leading to an impounded Pontiac Sunfire with a stench oh-so-familiar to Casey’s former deputy sheriff father. George Anthony’s granddaughter Caylee hasn't been seen in over a month.

Megyn reconstructs the night Casey’s mother, Cindy, makes three separate 911 calls in ninety minutes — the first about a stolen car, the last about a smell she can't explain — all while her daughter Casey sits in the next room insisting Caylee is just fine. Casey takes detectives to an empty apartment, a job she hasn’t worked at in two years, and lies about having a nanny named Zenaida whom she says has Caylee.

Behind it all is a woman fluent in lies, a pregnancy nobody quite believed, and a mother who keeps choosing not to look too closely. This is Episode 1 of the Casey Anthony story.

Sydney Sweeney’s new Novig sports ad is exploding online — and so is the backlash.

In this special episode, Erin Molan watches the Sydney Sweeney Novig ad, looks at the reaction from female athletes and critics, and then gives her take on what everyone arguing over the viral sports ad may be completely missing.

The Novig Sydney Sweeney campaign has become one of the most talked-about ads online, with searches surging for “Sydney Sweeney ad sports,” “Novig Sydney Sweeney,” “Novig sports,” “Novig ad” and “Sydney Sweeney ad Novig.”

But is the outrage actually hurting Sydney Sweeney and Novig?

Or have the people attacking the ad just handed them the kind of publicity money can’t buy?

Erin breaks down the backlash, the argument about women in sport, why she believes Sydney Sweeney is being held responsible for something the ad never claimed to represent — and the glaring inconsistency she sees in some of the criticism.

Watch the ad, hear the backlash, and then hear Erin’s take.
