Today, August 25th we learned that Bernie Sanders is slowly gaining ground on Hillary Clinton in the race to become the Democratic nominee, but he has little support among non-white Democrats.

Today, August 24th we learned that many Americans are pessimistic about the prospect of peace with Iran and even many supporters of the deal are OK with Schumer's opposition.

Today we learned that according to most Americans, ordinary people can expect their sex lives to remain private, but cheaters can't.

We also learned that Americans are divided on whether or not to use tax money to pay tuition at public schools, but the sentiment behind Hillary's college plan is popular.

Today, August 12th we learned that faith strongly influences people's attitudes to morality and whether or not they view monogamy as natural for humans.

Today we learned that Carly Fiorina is widely seen as the winner of the 'Happy Hour' debate, while Marco Rubio and Donald Trump came off best at 9pm – but overall impressions of Rubio have improved while Trump's ratings have slipped. We also learned that jokes about rape are more widely reviled than jokes on any other subject.

Today we learned that consumers may be paying less attention to the Gecko and Flo ad campaigns, but it doesn’t seem to be deterring consumers from wanting to do business with GEICO or Progressive. We also learned that the American public as a whole are much more likely to favor stricter gun laws than gun owners.

Today we learned that Democrats widely trust the Daily Show to provide the news, and most liberals think they are funnier than conservatives. We also learned that Scott Walker is better known among Republicans, but his favorability rating has not really improved and that the Jeep brand shows more resilience than it’s corporate parent Chrysler.

Today we learned that most Democrats, including self-described liberals, want Hillary Clinton to be their party's candidate in 2016, not Bernie Sanders. We also learned that Republicans tend to dislike the GOP leadership in Congress and most see both Boehner and McConnell as weak leaders.
