In a recent survey the majority of creative people said that they were self taught. Less that 17% said that teachers had played a major role in developing their creativity. How can we best teach creativity?

Amin Saberi is co-founder of NovoEd and a professor at Stanford University. His research focuses on the intersection of computer and social sciences and he is co-director of Social Algorithms Lab. Anne Trumbore directs design and implementation for online classes offered on NovoEd.
