So far, Monsoon 2023 has been a fairly calm season. The US National Weather Service had predicted that this year's Monsoon season was likely to see below-normal precipitation for most of Arizona along with above-normal temperatures throughout July and August. So far, those predictions have been correct. While most of northern Arizona has seen some rain at this point, most of the area is still below average for the monsoon season so far. In Prescott, the average normal rainfall is about 3 inches, so far this year we a little over 1.5 inches while Flagstaff has seen just under 1.5...
