Tomorrow I become a woman, wow, what a book.
The author was incredibly honest. I cried so hard while reading this book, for women and all the battles they fight alone, for women who come from homes were they aren’t supported and protected, for women who suffer in the most abusive marriages, for women in Nigeria and the crazy expectations society places on you, even in 2025.
Jesus asked the two disciples of John who followed him, what it was they were looking for. And that is His question to all of us today.
What are you looking for?
This is a question that requires deep reflection and honesty.
Are you really looking for Jesus for who He is? For a relationship with Him?
🕯️Bible verse of the week:
•“So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”
Matthew 6:31-34 NIV
📌Quote of the week:
Suffering lived with Christ is a door to heaven;
Suffering lived alone is a door to hell.
-A line from the movie- ‘Padre Pio’.
