    Jori Davis is an accomplished global professional basketball player. The New Orleans-native has played pro in six countries. She completed a standout career at Indiana University as the 10th all-time leading scorer at the school and was drafted 33rd overall by the Indiana Fever in the 2011 WNBA Draft upon graduation.

    Jori is currently working on creating WeVolv, a private ecosystem for elite athletes that will help them to manage their athletic and professional careers. She is dedicated to empowering athletes to own their legacy on and off the playing field and have more control.

    Andra Rasby is a former Division One athlete who understands the sports and fitness industry from the inside out.

    Andra holds an MBA with a concentration in Sports Business and a certified Yoga Instructor. As both a Client and Instructor, Andra is familiar with Group Fitness and the operations behind the Instructor Substitution process.

    Andra recognized a disconnect in finding the most appropriate substitutes for group classes. There were too many steps, lost emails, and last-minute requests. With a desire to fix this problem, she teamed up with Sarah Rasby to design SubGuru and says, “I want Owners, Managers, and Instructors to spend less time worrying about finding the right Teacher and more on the quality of the class.”

    Andra is also passionate about giving back and thus, have linked up with organizations like Reclamation Ventures and launched the Ifundwomen campaign to support women entrepreneurs to make a positive impact in her community.

  • Ep. #12 – Jachai Taylor – Aspiring Pro MBB Player on humility, the game, and removing stigmas with Sivonnia DeBarros, Protector of Athletes

    Jachai Taylor is a basketball player from Waukegan, Illinois.  Jachai attended Waukegan High School and was named honorable mention all-state, twice the Central Suburban League Player of the Year, twice MVP of his varsity team, 2013 Oswego Player of the Game, a 2014 Grant Thanksgiving Tournament All-Tournament Team selection, 2015 Rotary Club of Waukegan Male Athlete of the Year, 2015 Waukegan High School Male Senior Athlete of the Year, and MVP of the 2015 Lake County All-Star Game.

    Post High School, Jachai spent two seasons at NCAA Division I Murray State University where he averaged eight minutes, three points and 1.5 rebounds per game across 36 career games and qualified for the Murray State honor roll in each of his two years as a student-athlete and was named to the OVC All-Academic Team as a sophomore.

    Fast forward to 2018-19 playing season, Jachai played in 26 games for the Royals averaging 7.5 minutes per game where he averaged 3.0 points and 1.3 rebounds per game, while shooting 54.1 percent from the field and 40.7 percent from the 3-point line. Jachai scored a season-high 13 points and totaled a season-high nine rebounds versus William Jewell College on Nov. 3, 2018

    Jachai’s dream is to play professionally with Chicago Bulls considering that it’s home for him and he believes he can make a huge difference in his native city of Chicago.
