mattflynn is one of many Child Life Specialists at Cincinnati Children's Hospital, but for this episode we consider him THE child life specialist at the hospital. Matt was kind enough to come on and not only talk about his three, but about the Extra Life program that is a part of Children's Miracle Network and the good that those funds do for children every day across the country. Matt talks about his work supporting children and their families at the hospital and talks his three games: Earthbound, Left 4 Dead 2, and Untitled Goose Game.

Four years ago Tomas Gomez left the established game development world to set up his own indie game studio and Pancake Games was born. Today we have on two members of Sweet & Power Sauce were kind enough to come on and talk with us about their current project Whiskers, Wizards and Wands. Doug and Christine are husband and wife and part of the Sweet & Power Sauce dev team. Dan met the them at the Pittsburgh Gaming Expo where their game was met with rave reviews and he could not wait to get them on the podcast to talk about their hand drawn cozy adventure.

Their upcoming game due in Spring of 2026 has a demo dropping at noon the day of this episode's release and will also have their Kickstarter Campaign launch at the same time.

The couple also talk about how games like Tunic, Noita, and Stardew Valley inspired the vibes they were going for with Whiskers.
