What can we expect on Judgment Day? [Matthew 24:1-14; 30-35] | 10.29.23 Weekend Message
Whose Team Are You On? That's a big question if you're cheering for a team in the World Series, right? Go D-backs!
As much as we're going to enjoy watching the World Series, the question of "Whose Team Are You On?" isn't about sports, it's about Jesus, and the certainty He gives us as we look forward to our future.
This weekend at CrossWalk Church in Phoenix we're continuing our message series entitled, "Count On It." We're going to listen to another conversation Jesus had with His disciples about the end of the world and his return.
In Matthew 24, Jesus gives us some signs that Judgment Day is approaching, not to alarm us, but to make us aware. He wants us to pay attention and not be surprised by some of the pushback against God, and His people, that we will experience.
Jesus tells us these things so that we can be ready, ready to receive Him when He comes again as our victorious King who conquered sin, death, and the devil through His life, death, and resurrection.
In the meantime, Jesus gives us a powerful purpose: push forward against the darkness of evil by sharing His love with others.
It's our prayer that you can look forward with confidence to the day when Jesus reveals that we are on the winning team!

In difficult times and in good times God is always good, his love will never run dry, and nothing can separate us from his love. We can look forward at God's promises and the reality of living in a world that is broken and will someday be restored when Jesus returns.
