Jesus died, was buried, and resurrected on third day. Because of this, He is the captain of our salvation, the only One who was able to save us. When Christ was raised from the dead, He paved the way for all of us to be begotten of the Father, fulfilling all He came to do by redeeming us. This is what Christ accomplished through the resurrection.
