Glen Aspeslagh is the founder of E-Camm. He and his twin brother, Ken from Massachusetts hatched Ecamm in the late nineties when they were still kids with a simple goal of building apps to solve problems. Their strategy: If an app is useful, well designed and properly maintained, it will sell itself, without the need for clever advertising and glitzy marketing. Today they talk about their new app for Live Video.

WHAT IS E-CAMM?

E-Camm is an application that is integrated with Facebook and once you log in you can go live from your Mac.

E-CAMM ONLY WORKS ON MAC!

There is just an ONE-TIME FEE!

E-Camm allows you to bring people into the show through Skype.

You can have up to 5 guests through Skype.

You are able to drag in a video file and or graphics and play it full screen or some sort of picture in picture.

At this point, it DOES NOT support graphics with an alpha channel.

The E-Camm app grabs the video AND audio from Skype and streams it.

E-Camm also has a stream key and can go to YouTube and Periscope.

Next generation of the app you will be able to go live to YouTube, will help with scheduling and reply to comments.

E-Camm Live also offers you other software like Camera Live where you can integrate a DSLR camera and not having to use a webcam.

There is also native support for Blackmagic.

Any Mac from the past 7 years is more than capable of supporting E-Camm Live.

E-Camm automatically records your broadcast and saves it to Facebook and to your computer, it is in whatever resolution you are using.
