What did Amanda Gorman and the 192,000 flags at the Biden Inauguration say about how to use power of words and symbolism during a time of crisis management?

Where can we find light in this never-ending shade? This will become a phrase etched in everyone's mind as the counterpoint to the Biden inauguration, and the amazing display of eloquence and presence by the poet laureat Amanda Gorman. However, there was a lot more going on that day including the placement of 192,00 flags representing all 56 American states and territories. This episode includes a recording of "The Hill We Climb" which when heard rather than watched is all the more impactful. I share this because firstly it comes as a massive relief to have inspiration from the other side of the pond instead of consternation, but also because it gives great guidance to everyone about the power of words, symbols and the need to let new generations articulate the future vision whilst older leaders play the role of mentors and facilitators.
