What Did You Watch This Week

This week John and Mike took it easy on the movies and instead focused on shows, news, trailers, and some real life antics.  But rest assured there was still plenty to talk about, including 2 new shows (Invincible and The Irregulars) as well as the series finale of Superstore, which did them all right!

This week the guys have some shockers in store, from John giving up on a show he never imagined, to Mike being pleasantly surprised that Resident Alien is sticking around for another season.  The biggest shocker of all, however, involved the Snyder Cut, and... well, you'll just have to listen!

This week John and Mike realize that the lists of shows they want to watch are getting smaller, and the lists of shows they are willing to tolerate watching are getting even smaller than that!  Despite this, they still managed to get in some damned fine conversating about the ones they checked out this week.

This week John and Mike bid farewell to WandaVision, welcome back Flash and New Amsterdam (with diametrically opposed feelings on the return of both) and collectively sigh loudly at the state of the CW.  All this plus a review of Coming 2 America and so much more!

This week John and Mike argue over who is secretly pregnant on This is Us, talk about why Resident Alien is so good, lament being done with Lovercraft Country, and praise the newest CW hero show, Superman and Lois.  Also, we get a dramatic reading of the remaining 4 episodes of The Sinner because neither of them want to watch any more of this broken season.

This week John and Mike take a look at the magical powers of The Rookie to quickly and cleanly wrap up complex character arcs, the draw of critically acclaimed Nomadland, and the slow then WHOA 7th episode of Wandavision.

This week the boys you adore talk about things like how great Resident Alien is, how relatable The Unicorn's most recent foible is, and how This is Us needs to just stop with the car crash fake-outs!  Also, there is a lot of speculation from WandaVision and what may be coming very soon for the MCU!

This week John and Mike watched an amazingly done flashback episode of Lovecraft Country, dove back into The Sinner with Season 3, and finished off the first part of Lupin.  Mike sighs out loud at Superstore, and John talks about how good The Flight Attendant ended up being by the end.  All this plus we cap it off with THAT cameo reveal on WandaVision!

This week the guys have finished up Transformers: Earthrise, Mike calls it quits on a few shows, and John does the same with a few others.  This helps make room for newer fare, including Resident Alien where Alan Tudyk finally gets to play the lead role in something!  All this, plus some shocking revelations on WandaVision, and a ton of random thoughts on stuff and things!

This week the guys pontificate on the decline of some of their shows, the amazingness that is Lovecraft Country and WandaVision, and whether or not the Walker reboot can truly work without martial arts!  Come take a listen!
