As we approach Fathers' Day many of us will celebrate, struggle or reflect our Father! Statistics for men in prison: 80% have no relationship with their fathers and/or don't know who their fathers are, or have a desire to reach out to their father with a card on this day which is a sharp contrast to Mother's Day! This morning I was alarmed by an article in the news of a man being killed before a firing squad as his punishment for crimes he had committed...I read his story and my mind wondered what would have happened differently if this two year old baby had not been wandering the streets at night alone...but instead had been tucked neatly and securely in his bed!
