Today is Part 2 of The Pursuit of Happiness. We pick up where we left off in Part 1, discussing the implications of Hebrews 12:9, and the fact that at times, God disciplines us as our Father. The questions we asked in Part 1, lead us to discussing what purposes do afflictions and difficulties play in our lives, and how can we ultimately keep our eyes fixed on God amidst the toughest of times. As we dig into all of this,  I hope you will begin to ask yourself, what do I think?

Should we pursue happiness? Does God want us to be happy? Why does he allow us to endure suffering? What does that mean? What is God’s ultimate concern for our life? Today is Part 1 of a 2 part conversation. We hope you enjoy the first part today and that it will leave you eager to hear Part 2 next time. As we begin to wrestle through these  and other questions, I hope you will begin to ask yourself, what do I think?
