Hailing from Ft. Worth TX - and living up in Yaak, MT - Scott and Arnie welcome first time guest Rick Bass to the program. Rick Bass is an American writer and an environmental activist. He has a Bachelor of Science in Geology with a focus in Wildlife from Utah State University. Rick talks to the guys about his long career in conservation and environmental work here in Montana, his writing, art and music - and the awareness he is building to save the Black Ram forest - via an upcoming event on September 28th at the Wilma Theater call the Black Ram Guitar Festival featuring Rick, James McMurtry and friends. Rick works tirelessly on these projects and this spirited conversation will help our audience understand the importance and good work he is doing here in Montana.

Arnie and Scott speak with Anne Fogel, a Missoula resident whose brother, Marc Fogel, has been detained in a Russian penal colony for nearly three years. Marc Fogel, an American schoolteacher, was arrested in August 2021 by Russian authorities for attempting to enter the country with 0.6 ounces of medical marijuana. Although Marc's name was considered for release during a major prisoner swap with Russia— which saw the release of Wall Street Journal reporter Evan Gershkovich, former U.S. Marine Paul Whelan, and Russian-American journalist Alsu Kurmasheva— Marc was unfortunately not included and remains in Russia. Anne has been tirelessly working to secure her brother’s release. In their conversation, Arnie and Scott delve into Anne's efforts and the ongoing challenges her family faces. Arnie and Scott welcome back guests Airport Director Brian Ellestad and Deputy Director Tim Damrow from the Missoula Montana Airport to the show for a much needed update. Brian and Tim talk about the next phase of the terminal project, the grant program to help bring in new direct routes to Missoula as well as the tremendous growth the airport has had over the past 24 months. Scott and Arnie love this conversation as the guys talk all things aviation.

Scott and Arnie welcome Mark Losh - President and CEO of the Missoula Chamber of Commerce to the show! Mark took the reigns of the Chamber from Kim Latrielle, who spent 50 years with the Missoula Chamber of Commerce. Mark has some big shoes to fill. We talk about that and much much more on the program. Mark Losh has been in the business world since the late 1970s, when he began as a part-owner of a restaurant at age 16 in Deer Park, WA. Mark's career is the stuff of legend and we discuss that and how this great career prepared him for his new role with the Chamber of Commerce.

Scott and Arnie are back with two representatives from the International Wildlife Film Festival which runs from April 20-25th here in Missoula at the Roxy Theater. Scott and Arnie welcomed the Montana Innocence Projects John Lovi to the show. Lovi talks about the good work he and the Innocence Project are doing here in Montana. The Innocence Project advocates for an accurate and accountable justice system by remediating the root causes of wrongful and unjust convictions, improving laws, and advocating for racial and criminal justice in Montana. Lovi moved to Montana in 2016 after having a very successful career in law in New York. Lovi received his B.A. in Philosophy and Economics at Columbia College in 1983 before graduating from Yale Law School in 1986. He was a trial lawyer for several law firms on Wall Street, focusing mostly on securities and financial issues. He later founded and was the Managing Partner of the New York Office of the DC law firm Steptoe & Johnson LLP.

Scott and Arnie welcome first time guest and new Missoula Mayor Andrea Davis to the program. This spirited and lively conversation talks about the amazing journey Mayor Davis took to win with nearly 60% of the vote this past November. Mayor Davis is the the first newly elected mayor for Missoula in nearly 20 years.
