I in Love with Jesus or ______?
The First Commandment reminds us that God is to be first. Yet, every one of us struggles
with this. We end up putting other things before God, the never-ending struggle with idolatry.

Scripture is clear, nothing – no matter how good – is to come before God. He is our focus and our hope.

Living in America, there are many things that we are blessed with and love about our lives. Loving is not the problem. The key question is, “What do we love most.” The challenge is not to love, but to be ready to hold softly the love that we have in favor of the greater call to love God above all things.

The Holy Spirit is what enables us to love as God calls us to. Are you ready to love as God calls you to?
