Many have the image of a prophet as being a man with long flowing hair and a long white beard standing on a mountain,
holding a staff, wearing the vestments of biblical times.
Thus, should the topic arise in conversation about the possibility of a prophet existing today, one could expect to be met with
erroneous presumptions and preconceptions of prophethood belonging to ancient times. And thus, guffaws and presentiments along the lines that there could be such a thing in our technologically superior current times would be dismissively
expressed or thought.
It would most likely be quite the hurdle to bring one’s interlocutor to the consideration of a prophet having a purpose today, in
the third millennium.
To that end, we’d like to reproduce here what was expressed by the Plejaren to Billy about the subject. Billy himself
expressed inability to reconcile himself with the designation of prophet, and thus the Plejaren needed to address this, in order
that he would then resume the receiving of information that he’d been getting from the high spirit plane called Arahat
Athersata.
