What does NuLu need?

Listen Later

Louisville's NuLu neighborhood has come a long way in the last decade or so. But what does it need now?
We talked about that on this week's Access Louisville podcast.
Our panel got to thinking about NuLu needs after a nearby structure, the Joe Ley Antiques building, recently got a new owner. We came up with a few different suggestions: Condos, a movie theater, a grocery store and so on. The NuLu talk starts at the 5:20 mark.
As usual, we went over a couple of different topics on the show.
At the top of the show we talked about the name of Louisville's new women's soccer team: Proof Louisville FC. We go over what we like and don't like, what people are saying nationwide, etc.
We also talk about a proposal to refresh Broadway with some new ideas — safety features for bikes and scooters, dedicated transit lanes and so on. That discussion starts at the 10:40 mark.
Access Louisville is a weekly podcast from Louisville Business First. This week's show is hosted by Digital Editor David Mann, Design/Multimedia Editor Brooke Timmons, Associate Editor Zak Owens and Reporter Marty Finley.
