Shalom means hello, good-bye, and peace in Hebrew. But it means so much more than that. Shalom means you're doing well, you're whole, you're in health. The gospel is described as the gospel of shalom. Yeshua told his disciples to bless the houses they walked into with shalom, and the first words off his lips after he was raised from the dead was "shalom to you". Shalom is a fruit of the Spirit.
