Welcome to my Chapter 13 RECAP of 1997's "Child Bride" by Suzanne Finstad called
"A Dark Fairy Tale."
Welcome back to Germany in 1959 - Elvis and Priscilla are in a 5 month relationship and are clearly bonding and enjoying each others company. This is a complex emotional time for both of them, but especially Priscilla, who is 14 years old and navigating an adult world while spending time with Elvis and his friends and family at his home in Bad Nauheim.
This chapter explores some of the alleged dark details surrounding Priscilla's home life and also the theories that the author maintains- that Priscilla's parents were all too eager to push Priscilla into a relationship with Elvis because they were fascinated with his fame.
What was the real story, and who were the people around Priscilla at this sensitive time who can testify to this theory?
