Ken Mansfield – January 30th, 2019 is the 50th anniversary of the last time the Beatles would ever play together in a ‘live’ setting. It was on a rooftop of their record label, 40+ minutes, and audio that would eventually be used for the album, “Let It Be”. There were only a few ‘employees’ on the roof that day, and if you google photos, you’ll see a man with a white coat. Ken Mansfield worked for Apple Records and was there that day.

Kevin Matthews is the reason why I’m doing what I’m (still) doing in radio broadcasting. His time at WLUP in Chicago is legendary to “Kev-Heads” around the Midwest and beyond. It wasn’t just Kevin either - it was also sports announcer “Jim Shorts”, Darnell, Devon, Ronald Reagan, Elvis, Pee Wee Herman, and a cast of others, all flowing out of the mouth and brain of Kevin.
