The Pelvic Freak Show

What Even Is The Pelvic Floor?

Listen Later

What even is the pelvic floor and why are people finally talking about it?

We realize that a lot of people don’t actually know what the pelvic floor is or what pelvic health really is. In this episode, we get into how pelvic health is finally getting more attention, where we’re seeing that shift, and why we’re intentional about using “pelvic health” instead of “women’s health.”

We also talk about why this is a health podcast, not a wellness podcast (yes, we have some thoughts on that), and why pelvic health isn’t just another trend. It’s real, necessary care that’s been overlooked for way too long.

Then we break it down simply. What the pelvic floor actually is, what it does, and what all we can help you with (like bladder leaks, pain with sex, constipation, postpartum recovery, and much much more)
