This week, in the ICMAP Series 5 Finale, the boys explore one of the world’s most famous cases of a missing child as they look into the disappearance of Madeleine McCann.

Madeleine was just 3 years old when she went missing from her family’s apartment during a holiday in the coastal resort town of Praia Da Luz, Portugal.

Madeleine vanished between 21:00 and 22:00 on the night of May 3rd 2007 - the McCann family’s seventh and penultimate night on holiday.

During most nights, including the night that Madeleine went missing, her parents would dine with several friends in the resort’s tapas bar (which was an 82 metre walk away from the apartment), controversially leaving their children sleeping in a room with an unlocked patio door…

What new developments in the case may lead to a possible conclusion almost 15 years after Madeleine’s disappearance? Did the parents play any role in Madeleine going missing or were they simply negligent with their decisions? Which key pieces of critical evidence did the Portuguese Police not protect or consider? And did the McCann family feel that it was okay to leave their children unsupervised in an unlocked apartment?
