By definition an A&R (Artists and repertoire) is the division of a record label or music publishing company that is responsible for talent scouting and overseeing the artistic development of recording artists and songwriters. This positions were highly seek out by those who wanted to be in the music industry but couldn't play an instrument or rap. So what happened to the A&R?
