Welcome back to LMLD! We are so excited to be back after a week hiatus. We began by sharing our "lights" of the week, which was a rollercoaster of highs and lows. Then, we jumped into this week's topic inspired by Lauryn's highlight of going to visit her brother Max at college this past weekend. We discussed how she felt returning back to college for the first time, comparisons she noticed to her own experiences, and what unresolved feelings that brought out for her. We discussed what social norms are present during this time that aren't in other periods of life, and what is different about college now than it was for Jamee. All in all, though it was this weekend was emotional at times, Lauryn is actually in a really good place and this conversation only made us realize that. Finally, we discussed what we were into for the week and signed off.
