Brian has been musically inclined his entire life! Since 5 he realized he wanted to be a musician following his father's footsteps. After years and years of teachings, different music styles, Brian has his hand in every segment when it comes to being an artist. He knows melodies, stretching voices, even things we wouldn't normally think of that goes into a studio session. He is a composer, voice coach, writer, producer, honestly his talents are too long to list. A true artist, he headlines a band and is always looking to push the genre forward! Most of us never sit down to imagine what our lives will be like 10 years from now. Some of us joke and say the world will be over by then, others just never think about it because they are so caught up on our day to day, we never think about the future. I would implore everyone to take some time to reflect and ask ourselves, "How far will we be 10 years from now?" Are you driving the car you want? Creating the products or business you desire? Are you able to tuck your kids in at night without being too tired? Is your health in good standing? Are your relationships thriving? Most of us never ask these questions and possibly never recognize the opportunity we have right now to ensure our futures are successful. Imagine your life 10 years from now, are you happy with what you have accomplished? Or are you depressed after realizing you may have been squandering your life?

I bet you haven't realized HOW MUCH OF LIFE YOU HAVE MISSED BECAUSE YOU WEREN'T SERIOUS. The saying, "Discipline weighs ounces and regret weighs tons," is all too true. I reflected on how we miss opportunities if we are not in the right place and the right place stems from us taking our lives seriously. I remember watching one of Meek Mill early battle raps and he said, "When you broke as a joke, ain't shit funny dawg," and not realizing the magnitude of that bar.  This episode isn't about finances only, but how our entire lives and the lives of others are affected by us NOT taking our gifts seriously. If you are a writer, write. A producer, produce. A creator, create. No matter who you are or what you do, just do it with the belief that your writing, producing, and creating is benefitting the world around us.

We get to choose how far we go in life and what we accomplish. The Creator has gifted us with everything we would need including the principles for life, to thrive and prosper. On the other hand, we ignore the teachings, we ignore the warnings, and when we end up in a compromising position, we wonder where did we go wrong. Life is amazing. It never ceases to amaze, startle, or confuse us at some point. But if you look closely, all things point to a clue that you maybe looking for in the next area of your life. Today, I realized a principle that has profoundly exposed my thinking. I am currently working on a book about changing our thinking to achieve more with the primary focus of being able to afford things. We tend to say, "I can't," ALOT. And it has haunted me on why we shut our minds off and not to think in terms of faith and achieving. I had found the theory of changing our thinking from "I can't" to "how can I" and a whole world of possibilities opened up. Not only can it apply to affording things, but achieving goals. We can go from "I can't go to the gym" to "How can I make time to workout"? It is far more helping to think this way than the dead-end thinking of "I can't." I say this to say the only way I would be able to come to that conclusion is if I am in the POSITION OF DISCOVERING. We must place ourselves in the right positions if we want to succeed in life. This is why some of us must move away from our familiar places to be in a new and better position. Tune in to hear how the Power of Positioning is broken down and explained.

There is no mountain too great, no valley too low, for you to achieve the things you know you can achieve. One the journey of becoming, you will face many many challenges to prove if the dream you have is true. Most people quit at the first challenge when the answer isn't a logical one. You know children believe everything they see and hear? Kid's will repeat superstitions, fables, and truth. If you recall, there was a video a few years ago where this group of children were eating ice cream and saying things about their parents. One kid said her dad has a gold tooth, the others were amazed was repeating it in disbelief and a little girl repeated so proudly, "My dad has diabetes!" Those darn kids lol. They take everything and internalize it. Kids have this amazing belief that anything is possible for them. Kids don't know about failure until "aN AdULt" tells them. They don't know they cannot do something. Once a child's dream is repeatedly crushed they internalize it and soon take it into adulthood. Now we have a generation filled with adults that cannot believe more for themselves.
