“If you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword in vain. For he is the servant of God, an avenger who carries out God’s wrath on the wrongdoer.” Bryan Fischer here with the Life and Liberty Minute. Police are God’s idea, not man. God has delegated his authority to them to restrain evil. So what happens when man dismisses the wisdom of God and tries to abolish or restrict the police? In Seattle’s autonomous zone, there are reports of numerous shootings in the last few days, and rioters kept emergency personnel from even getting to a gunshot victim. He died. In Minneapolis, where the city council has voted to abolish the police, one shooting left 11 people wounded and one person dead. In New York, 22 people were shot after the mayor reduced police presence in the city. Man’s way leads to violence and death. God’s way leads to peace and stability.
