What have I done?

Listen Later

What have I done?

From the arrogant World War 2 death camp paymaster

To every twentieth century US involved war disaster

McDonald laid the groundwork back in nineteen forty-seven

Chomsky pointed at the intellectuals' sending men to Heaven

Use your words carefully, they’re as deadly as a loaded gun

Take down those phony lies, quit asking what have I done?

Who’s supposed tell the average person on the street

That we’re the ones that really suffer from inflicting defeat

Sit silent, play dumb, act like you think everything’s okay

The brightest minds in the world have nothing else to say

Unless it benefits them, c’mon I’m looking out for number one!

The weeping, finger wagging, soulful pleading what have I done?

We’re getting warmer every winter in the town where I live

Drilling and fracking the planet to pieces, somethings got to give

Ice shelf’s are melting, floating into the sea, watch it rise

As coastal areas flood, see the looks of astonishment and surprise

From the local politicians to the guy riding air force one

Hear them making excuses to the camera saying what have I done?
