What I admire most about Frances is her work ethic, and make no mistake, she approaches writing like it is a job. She turns up everyday.

She does the work.

You can’t edit an empty page…I think not being a perfectionist as well, you go over the same two sentences a hundred times, that’s going to drive you crazy. Get it down, get it down on paper.

Maxine is a writer, a mother, a wife and wherever she goes she puts all of her heart into what’s she doing.

As a teacher you can’t help but be a role model…it’s part of the gig.

We all have stories we tell ourselves. Moments or episodes that linger with us as having defined the direction our life has taken or shaped our characters in some way. And yet, we may not have shared this story with anyone, despite the significance it has for us.
