Fad diets are everywhere! The problem with that is that they focus on weight loss. Because of the way society has ingrained these ideas into us, in our minds, weight loss is supposed to make everything 1000 times better. That's just not true. A fad diet does not address the true reason that you want to release the weight. When the restriction is done, the weight comes right back because the root cause was not addressed.
Why do you want to do this? What is the reason? Your true reason, not just because somebody told you to. Dig deep.

I was a chronic dieter. I tried EVERYTHING. I would look up influencers and celebrities and follow their diets. I tried cutting out entire food groups. As a result, I became nutrient deficient! This manifested in me with cystic acne, hormone disruption, and intense cravings for foods that contain certain nutrients. Our bodies are smart. They know where to get the nutrients they need. It doesn't mean you lack the willpower, it means that you need some key nutrients that you're not getting.
It's also important to note that many diets were developed for specific reasons and may not work for you. That doesn't make it your failure!!
