For the first time in a very long time, I took a full week away from social media.
No scrolling. No posting. No checking notifications. Just complete stilness.
And honestly… I didn’t realize how disconnected from myself I had become until I stepped away from the constant noise.
In this episode, I’m sharing what this week offline taught me about overstimulation, dopamine, comparison, nervous system regulation, creativity, and the importance of stillness in a world that constantly demands our attention.
We talk about:
- why social media can leave us feeling anxious, burnt out, and disconnected
- the dopamine cycle of scrolling and constant consumption
- comparison culture and feeling “behind” in your 20s
- how getting offline helped me reconnect to my body and intuition
- why nature, stillness, and creativity are medicine
- practical ways to reduce screen time without completely quitting social media
- simple nervous system-supportive habits that helped me feel calm again
This isn’t about demonizing social media. I truly believe it can be an incredible tool.
But I also believe we need moments of silence now more than ever.
Even just one day offline can change the way you experience your life.
