  • "there are two things that bring me joy, food and dance"

in this episode of “what i remember what i have learned” i talk with mahsa darabi, @themoodypersian, a beautiful woman who loves nothing more than bringing people together and her secret ingredient for all the laughter and joy is FOOD!
i met mahsa at her home in Oswego for the interview and before we start, she asked me if i want a piroshki. next thing you know I’m having a piroshki and talking to her about myself, about my journey, my art and what brings me joy in life. “ wait a second! she is interviewing me!” I thought to myself. and all it took for me to open up to her was her smile and a sweet creamy piroshki.
it made me think that day, maybe we'll have more gratitude than judgment for each other if we start our conversations with biting into something sweet.
