Why would you feel that you’re not prophetic?

- Not fully understanding what the prophetic is

- Not believing in ourselves / realising our identity in Christ

- Comparing ourselves with others / with other people prophesying

Declaring truths over ourselves with conviction:

- I am a new creation in Christ, the old me has died. I'm now a brand new person

- I am holy in God's sight, without blemish and free from accusation.

- I am in Christ and I am safe.

- I am a saint.

- I have been raised up with Christ. And I am now seated with Him in heavenly places.

- I am being transformed into the image of Christ, one degree of glory to another.

- I am no longer under any condemnation. I cannot be separated from my Father's love.

What is being prophetic?

- Knowing God speaks to us because of who we are as a Christian

- Taking the bible and reflecting it in our lives

- Looking at our circumstances and seeking God’s perspective

- Feeling the heart of God

- Sharing what God is saying (Revelation, Interpretation, Application)

How can I grow a prophetic way of life?

- Pause and pray

- Record what God is saying

- Obey the voice of God

- Patience – treasuring in our hearts, timing is everything

- Hunger after more of God

- Everyday life

- Test what we hear and feel

- Identity – going deeper, revealing insecurities

- Community (Encourage, strengthen, comfort)
