What In God's Name goes into shadowy places, but always holding on to hope. Come with us. We can walk this together. Repair and renewal begin with truth-telling, and allowing the pain of what is true into our hearts, is hard. Hard-- and necessary.

We're adults. We can't look away. Even if we're comfortable, we should be uneasy. Our shared common life is broken, with too much violence in too many places.

Hope is also present. People are doing good things. We need to name the things that make us uncomfortable, and join with others who are awake, aware, and already bringing healing and hope.

The fundamental tension is whether a liberal society--characterized by individual rights and tolerance for diversity--can find enough moral glue to hold together.
