The Lyrids are tied to Comet Thatcher, creating the shower we see in April; the Eta Aquarrids Shower is linked to Halley's Comet and to view this shower you will need to view the Southern sky; there are multiple free apps that you can purchase to view and learn more of the night sky - particularly when we have some early morning planet action happening this month with Venus, Mercury, and Saturn all making an appearance.
