What is Aroid Mix?

These plants need soil that drains well but holds moisture to mimic their natural rainforest habitat. An ideal aroid mix includes ingredients like peat moss, perlite, orchid bark, and charcoal. This combination allows roots to breathe while retaining enough moisture for healthy growth. If you want your aroids to thrive, using an aroid mix is essential. It prevents root rot and ensures your plants get the perfect environment. You can buy ready-made mixes or create your own at home with the right ingredients.
