Consumer surplus describes the relationship between the price someone pays for your services and the value they receive in return.
If you were to pay less than you would be willing to pay for something, we would say that there is a lot of consumer surplus in that transaction.
Figuring out whether this is happening in your business – and how to think about changing it – is vital.
