I want the heart from you guys that are super scared and I want the confidence from you guys that are not scared to be in front of people. And you put those together and you could have a really. Passionate, genuine, authentic communicator that makes an impact in people. - Christy

if we could develop any skill is how to communicate. . Communicate with self, communicate with God, communicate with others. These are the communication skills that we have to develop so that we can live a life of purpose and joy- Brigette

what I teach is you are never communicating for your benefit. You're never on a stage for your spotlight, for your applause, your standing ovation, your reviews, your likes, your fault, never. You're there to serve and do God's work. The best speakers, the most effective speakers are those that are completely focused on the audience. What can I give if that means that I'm gonna tell you a story that moves me to tears and I'm crying cause I didn't plan to tell it. It's super vulnerable for me, but it's gonna help encourage you. Then I'm gonna look ugly. I'm gonna have mascara on my face for your benefit. When you focus on the crowd and giving value and serving them and showing up and solving problems.- Christy

Then it takes the fear away as well, because you're not thinking about you. How do I look? Is my hair cute? Are they gonna like me? Am I gonna get good reviews? You're showing up and serving. And so I think when you show up and serve, it is just this beautiful middle where it takes the fear out of it for the people that are scared.- Christy

So I think for me, breaking the mold is really deciding to, I love the analogy of breaking the mold. It's like deciding that I don't have to be. What people have already been. I don't have to be who I was the last 12 years. I don't have to be the Christie Wright that everyone knew at Ramsey. I can be a new version of me, apart from Ramsey and let God,  bring me into a new season.- Christy

I think that's true for many people. You may have a season of training behind someone, but at some point God's gonna call you out into the unknown, into the wilderness, into the , you know, into the new thing. Cuz there's something he wants you to do that only you can do.- Christy

And yes, it's scary and it's also awesome because you're able to do something that, you, like God, use you in a way that otherwise you wouldn't be able. .

And I felt God, say, Christy, you know how to prepare. You know how to practice. You know how to plan. You are so good at that. I need to teach you how to walk by. So we're gonna keep walking by faith. I'm gonna give you things as you need them, and not a moment too soon,  not a moment, early so that you learn to depend and trust these muscles that I will come through for you.- Christy

It's not just like a one-time thing. This is how we operate in the, in my kingdom. We walk by faith - Christy
