If you were asked to define grace, the idea of "gift" may come to your mind, but would the idea of "power" also come to your mind? When we look at God's grace in the Bible, it doesn't just speak of pardon and forgiveness, but also of power to be transformed and to be like the Lord Jesus Christ. We need to be able to say with the Apostle Paul that when we've labored far more abundantly than our contemporaries, that it's not us, but the grace of God in us.
