Across Australia, we keep hearing the same stories: assaults, family violence, knife crime, online misogyny, boys getting angrier, young men becoming more disconnected. But I don’t think young men are simply “bad”. I think a lot of them are lost. And when young men feel powerless, ashamed, rejected or invisible, sometimes that pain comes out as violence. So today, I want to ask a harder question... what is actually happening to young men in Australia?
