But I don’t think young men are simply “bad”. I think a lot of them are lost. And when young men feel powerless, ashamed, rejected or invisible, sometimes that pain comes out as violence. So today, I want to ask a harder question... what is actually happening to young men in Australia?

Charlie remembers the moment her dad sat her down and said, “I’m not the person you think I am.”

In this episode, I sit down with Charlie to talk about what it was really like growing up as an officer’s kid in The Salvation Army, here in Australia.
