  • 36: Taking the Enneagram Test & Discussing Our Types

In this episode, we take the Enneagram test on air and discuss our results. For the unfamiliar, the Enneagram is a model of the human psyche which has 9 different (but interconnected) personality types. We discussed our Meyer's Briggs personality types in a previous episode (Eric tested ENFP originally, although he just re-tested as an ENFJ. Sarah is an INFP).  Spoiler alert: Eric's Enneagram type was 8w7 and Sarah's was 4w3. Skip to a little past the 1 hour mark if you are only interested in hearing them discuss their results, and not the whole test.

  • 35: Lessons From the Last Three Years
    • Eric’s experience getting stuck in a rut at his day job while trying to pursue a music career on the side. His process of learning to define the next logical step to reach his goals, rather than keeping goals broad and poorly-defined.
    • Sarah’s experience accumulating furniture and interior decor while trying to emulate lifestyles she saw on social media, and later moving back towards minimalism. Her process of learning which purchases would truly bring her joy.
    • Our experimentation with being outdoorsy “Colorado people,” and overcoming the pressure in our minds to build our identities around certain activities that didn’t make us happy.
    • How Eric learned to be calmer/less judgmental from Sarah, and how she learned to develop stronger boundaries from Eric.
    • Plus more!
